The French Bookstore in Rome, a must for a literary break!
Présentation
The Librairie française de Rome was created in 1948. It became Libreria Stendhal when it was taken over in December 2016, thanks to an experimental system implemented with the Centrale de l'édition and the Centre national du livre (CNL), but also thanks to the valuable advice of the Association pour le développement de la librairie de création (ADELC). From October to June, the bookstore offers a monthly program of meetings that alternates youth workshops, presentations in literature, human sciences, comics, etc. with debates and presentations in the presence of authors who come to talk to us about their work. The bookstore also organizes festivals every year, in October Italiques and Italiques jeunesse , and in November the Semaine des possibles . This program reflects the sectors that we love, our commitments to the authors and publishers that we defend, so many moments that we wish to share with you.
